Brown pearls

Today was a nice change from the non-stop pace we've been going at lately.  I actually got to sleep in, and later Travis and I took Katie to see Brave.  I enjoyed it--especially since the little girl in the movie has hair just like Katie's! 

After we got home, I made this necklace using dark brown pearls and some lace I picked up on sale.

I like the way it turned out.  I love brown, and the little lace bows give it a touch more femininity.  I skipped the bows on the necklace and earrings because I never could get them situated the way I wanted.  I added small crystals instead.

I have a white frilly shirt they'll go well with, but I think Hannah may still the necklace to go with her new lace shirt!
