Beach vacation

We returned from Carolina Beach (NC) on Sunday, and are now back to reality.  I thought I'd share a few of my favorite pics from the trip, but first, remember the suitcase I was fixing up for my beads?  I finished it, and was very pleased with the results.

I used some vintage-looking fabric, and made push pins by gluing owl buttons to plain metal push pins.  It held everything perfectly--even the new beads I bought.

We had a blast!  I wound up visiting a local bead shop twice, and also picked up a beautiful copper pendant at a farmer's market.  I'll post pics ASAP!
