Etsy Shop News

Good morning (at least on the East Coast)!  I wanted to share a decision I've made.  I decided to close my Etsy shop.  This was not an easy decision, but I feel it's the right one for now.  It's been open for a few years and hasn't been as successful as I had hoped it would be.  Part of that, I'm sure, is my fault.  It's hard to have a lot of time to devote to it with work and family.  

I do plan to keep my blog going, however, and I plan to make changes to it.  I've decided to branch out beyond just jewelry and post some about other crafts and hobbies I enjoy.  For example, I recently learned how to do some very basic knitting, and I'm practically obsessed.  I made the scarf I'm wearing today:

Okay, so I'm not the greatest selfie taker, but you get the point.  And, not to abandon jewelry altogether, I made these earrings from some adorable Humblebeads charms that my hubbie bought me for Christmas (and I should mention he picked them out all by himself.  He has great taste.)
